When competeing at the highest level, sometimes tempers can flare upa and bad things can happen. In 1977, Kermit Washington was suspended for 60 days after he left another player bloody and near death after a fight during a game. It’s quite shocking that it was able to reach that point before someone stepping in, I highly doubt something like this could ever happen in today’s NBA. After Washington’s suspension, things never were quite the same again and he was soon out of the NBA.
