20. Food Poisoning Happens
Remember in the movie, “Airplane” (busted) when the pilots both ate the fish? They both died. That’s a real concern. Pilots will often order different dishes when given the choice, in case one of the dishes is a little funky. If one pilot gets too sick to fly, the other will rest easy knowing she ordered the lasagna.
19. Fido Will Suffer
It’s fashionable to travel with pets. Dogs, especially, have become only slightly less cherished than children. Understandable. Animals that fly under the belly are generally safe, but they may never hear well again. Keep in mind that the support crew wears ear covers that look like recording studio cans, not to rock out, but to preserve their hearing.
