Nearly four decades ago in 1976, Charlie’s Angels hit TV screens for the first time. It ran for five incredible seasons, following the crime-fighting adventures of three detectives working in a Private Detective Agency in Los Angeles, California. Originally, it starred Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, and Jaclyn Smith. A lot has changed since the show was finally canceled in 1981. Numerous reboots popped up over the years, attempting to recreate the show’s original success, including a successful movie franchise and a less-than-successful 2011 TV series.
The shows and film featured famous stars – many of whom you’ll immediately recognize. See where the cast of Charlie’s Angels franchise is now, forty years later…
24. David Doyle
David Doyle played the original John Bosley on the 1976 Charlie’s Angels. His role was iconic, and Doyle stayed on the show through its entire run up until 1981. Doyle started his acting career in 1959 and continued to work until he passed away in 1997. His most notable roles include voicing Grandpa Lou Pickles on Rugrats, and Ted Holmes in General Hospital.
23. Minka Kelly
Minka Kelly is probably the best-known star of the failed 2011 Charlie’s Angels reboot. She first found fame in the 2006 TV drama Friday Night Lights. Thankfully, the failed reboot hasn’t affected her career. She’s played roles on Almost Human and The Path, and even played Jackie Kennedy in The Butler.
