Being a star in the NBA allows you to afford the finer things in life. That could mean the finest cars, homes, as well as any other luxury item you can think of. However, one of the best parts about getting paid millions of dollars to play a game you love is the love life that comes with it. That’s right, I’m talking about the beautiful women that seem to be drawn to that sort of thing. They often get referred to as “trophy” wives or girlfriends because they often have that next level beauty that most guys could only dream of. When it comes time for the NBA finals, these ladies jump at the chance to come out and show support for their men. Plus it provides a perfect opportunity to strut their stuff on one of the world’s biggest stages.

Some athletes that compete at the highest level have a few quirks regarding the time leading up to the big game. Tristan Thompson is one of those players. Even though he was dating one of the beautiful Kardashian sisters, Khloe specifically, he decided he needed shift all of his focus towards the championship so he asked if they could “take a break.” Now I don’t know about your experience with women, but more times than not, the whole “take a break” thing doesn’t usually go over very well. Surprisingly though, Khloe must’ve been ok with it because there are recent rumors flying around that the happy couple is now engaged.

Living life in the spotlight can sometimes make it difficult to keep things in the shadows, especially those steamy relationships. Kyrie Irving found himself in one of these situations not long ago when rumors started flying around about him and the talented R&B singer-songwriter, Kehlani Parrish. It was later confirmed via some Instagram posts that the two were an item, but it wasn’t all rainbows and butterflies in the wonderful world of social media. A photo surfaced of Kehlani posing on the bed of Canadian musician PartyNextDoor which sent Twitter into a frenzy and caused quite the media controversy for both Irving and Parrish. Once the dust settled, it was too much for the couple to work through and eventually they ended up splitting for good a few months later.
