The 3 Absolute Best Football Movies of All Time

There are definitely no shortages of football movies out there as it is without a doubt one of the most popular sports in North America. However, with so many offerings, not all of them can be good. However, some are and these three movies are MUST watches if you consider yourself a football fan.

1. Any Given Sunday

This film is largely remembered for one thing, and that is the absolutely legendary and timeless speech that Al Pacino gives to his team. And while that is great and deserves a lot of attention, the film itself is pretty good too. It is dramatic and can really tug on yoru heart strings and also features cameos from a ton of cameos from NFL players like Terrell Owens, Emmitt Smith and Dick Butkus, just to name a few.

2. The Blind Side

This is not only a fantastic film, but is based on a real story. The movie is based on the life of Michael Oher, a man who goes from being an orphan living on the street, to becoming an NFL player. Sandra Bullock (and every other actor for that matter) was amazing and the film was a box office success as it brought in more than $300 Million. This is really a must watch for anyone, not only football fans.

3. Remember the Titans

This is another film based off of a true story and is among my absolute favorite sports movies of all time, not only one of my favorite football movies. The film is based off of an African-American coach who looks to introduce a racially diverse team into a town that really doesn’t take to kindly to the idea at first. It is great and I have recommened it to countless people who aren’t even football fans and they have loved it. Truly one of Denzel Washington’s best performances.
