Usain Bolt and His Unbelievable 6 World Records

What’s it like to be the be the fastest man on planet Earth? To know that no matter who lines up next to you in a sprint battle, you will dominate. Unfortunately, there are only a few that have been lucky enough to experience something like that. And the man that currently holds that title, without question, is Usain Bolt. He has a total of 6 world records to his credit over his long and decorated career in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay.

There have been many runners over the past 100 years that were once considered the fastest men on Earth. But there was always a young up and coming runner that managed to run even faster. When Carl Lewis broke the WR in the late 80’s nobody thought that record would get beaten, but then it did. And it’s possible that one day we might see Bolt’s lightning fast 100m world record of 9.58 get beaten. However with the ease he was able to set that record, I have a feeling it might be a long time until we do. Here’s a video showing the progression of Bolt’s career and his 6 world record runs. What an amazing athlete.
